Free Adobe Alternative Applications

Ever since Adobe started their subscription based cloud applications, the cost has shot through the roof! Imagine paying a monthly subscription just to use an application. It never used to be this way. Gone are they days when Adobe used to provide a disc and you needed a product key to use the application.

Luckily, I have not had to pay for Adobe products since 2009. If you work in the creative industry or in education, chances are it will be paid for.

So, here’s a few Adobe alternatives that are completely free to use.

Photo-editing- instead of Photoshop you can use an application called Gimp.

Instead of Instead of Indesign you can use Scribe.

And, instead of Illustrator, you can use Inkscape.

The end link is an alternative to Premiere Pro.

Please note, these are free applications . So, although they will do the job, there may be a steep learning curve.
